Subject: Self-Esteem 101

Our 6 week mentoring program is an interactive course specifically designed for teen girls ages 12-17!  Each mentee will be paired with a professional mentor to help them boost and maintain confidence in themselves while teaching them important values and life skills that align with our organization's mission.

At the end of 6 weeks mentees will be able to:

Identify the 5 Habits of Healthy Self-Esteem.

Identify and utilize tools to embrace self-love.

Make healthy choices that will encourage self-confidence.

Effectively exercise actions to foster a positive mindset.

Identify and avoid self-destructive behaviors.

Mentee Acknowledgment
As a member of Great Girl University program, I agree to comply with the rules and requirements that govern the program. If I fail to comply, I will be subject to the disciplinary options of the Great Girl University program that could include permanent expulsion. I also understand that participation in the program is strictly voluntary and I will not hold Girls Destined For Greater Mentoring Group, The Happy Confident Future Foundation or any of its employees and/or sponsors responsible for any injuries that may occur as a result of my participation.

What is expected of Mentees?
Program participants are required to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the Mission, Vision and Core Values of the Great Girl University program. Essentially, participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner and will be treated with respect and courtesy at all times.
Virtual Conduct
Mentees are expected to have cameras turned on with no distractions.  Mentees must be seated in a workplace acceptable for class.  Mentees should not attend class in bed, in the car etc.
Participants are expected to attend each session. Attendance policy is enforced.
Dress Code
Although class meets virtually, mentees are expected to be dressed in presentable attire.  Mentees must be fully clothed. No bonnets, pajamas allowed.
